At the Lofts at 136 we have two different employment opportunities for our residents, a Desk Assistant and a Resident Assistant.
Both positions have the opportunity to:

• gain professional experience
• develop leadership skills

What are the qualifications?

To be selected, you must:

• demonstrate leadership skills
• show maturity
• show good interpersonal skills
• restrict any other part-time work to ten hours a week or less
• attend monthly staff meetings, pre-semester training, and other staff development
• be in good judicial standing with your institution
• be willing to return early and stay late each semester

What kinds of positions are available?

Currently we are looking for Resident Assistants (RAs) and Desk Assistants (DA).

What's the pay?

Resident Assistants will receive a Studio Apartment at a discounted rate.
Desk Assistants will receive an hour pay.

• how to work with people of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles
• organizational skills necessary to plan and present programs for students living in residence halls

When would I have to start?

Resident Assistants will need to be available the week of July 26 to participate in training.
Desk Assistants will start as early as August 1, however, we are flexible on the start date.
